Most have elastic or tie waists, so they are comfortable from breakfast to the last campfire. Many come in sizes up to 3X.
Tie-dye and hippie skirts
Our tie-dye maxi skirts are soft cotton, and several are lined so they are not see-through in bright sun. Each one is dyed on its own, so the pattern on yours will be a little different. They are an easy festival skirt and look just as good with a plain black tank.
Patchwork wrap skirts
Wrap skirts are sewn from cotton patches and close with a tie, so one skirt covers a wide range of waist sizes. They are easy to pack and work as a beach cover-up too.
Renaissance and medieval skirts
Embroidered rayon skirts with flared hems, heavy netted lace skirts with uneven hems, a scalloped gothic skirt and a velvet gothic maxi. Pair any of them with a peasant or bell-sleeve blouse and you have a ren faire outfit that is cooler than most costumes.
Tiered, lace and twirl skirts
Tiered cotton skirts add volume as they fall, and our smocked twirl skirt with mirror details has an elastic waist and a lot of swing. Lace tiered skirts are the dressiest of the group.
Length and petite tips
Most of our maxis fall to the ankle on an average height. If you are petite, wear a skirt higher on the waist or choose a tea-length style. If you are tall, check the length in the product description before ordering.
Styling a maxi skirt
For a faire, tuck in an embroidered blouse and add a crossbody bag. For summer, a fitted tank keeps the outline balanced. In cooler months, a razor-cut hoodie and boots work well with tie-dye or patchwork.

Care
Many of our pieces are hand-dyed, so the shade of yours can vary slightly from the photo and from the next one in the stack. Hand wash in cold water and line dry to keep the hand-dyed colors rich. Iron inside out on low if needed.

Yes. Embroidered medieval skirts, lace skirts and tiered cotton skirts all work for a faire, especially with a peasant blouse.
What is your return policy?
