Expect embroidery, corset lacing, scooped necklines and full skirts. Only a couple are velvet gowns for formal looks; the rest are lighter fabrics such as rayon and cotton. Many come in sizes up to 3X.
Renaissance gowns
Our long gowns include a velvet medieval wedding gown, an embroidered velvet corset gown, a scooped-neck corset gown and a long rayon crepe gothic gown. They are the most dramatic pieces we make.
Embroidered medieval dresses
Embroidered medieval dresses have rich stitching at the bodice and hem. They read as a ren faire dress but are simple enough to wear without a costume around them.
Short and baby doll medieval dresses
For heat, a few medieval dresses are short baby doll styles in rayon crepe or cotton. Add tights in fall.
Plus size medieval dresses
Many of our styles come in sizes up to 3X. Each product page has its own size chart, so compare it with a piece you already own that fits well. If you are between sizes, size up in fitted styles. Corset lacing on many styles makes the waist adjustable.
Faire-day tips
Pick rayon or cotton for summer and save velvet for fall. Bike shorts under a long skirt prevent chafing. A crossbody bag keeps your hands free.

At a faire, not much. Medieval styles tend toward simpler lines and embroidery; Renaissance gowns add lacing, fuller skirts and richer fabrics.
