Dark, romantic and made to wear. Our gothic dresses lean medieval rather than club: corset-laced bodices, embroidery, lace trims and a couple of velvet gowns.
Most of the dresses here have corset lacing, and many come in sizes up to 3X.
Corset gothic dresses
More than half of these dresses are corset-laced. The lacing shapes the waist and lets you adjust the fit through the day, which is why corset goth dresses are such a faire favorite.
Velvet and lace
We have two velvet gowns: a gothic Renaissance corset gown with embroidery and a long velvet medieval gown cut for formal events. A lace medieval dress rounds it out. Most of the others are lighter fabrics such as rayon or cotton, which are easier to wear in summer.
Short gothic dresses
A few gothic dresses are short, including baby doll styles and a cotton Victorian-inspired dress. Wear them with tights and boots.
How to style a goth dress
Pair it with a dark mala, black boots and a patchwork or black shoulder bag. For a faire, a cream peasant blouse under a sleeveless style adds a medieval layer.

Are these gothic dresses good for a Renaissance faire?
Yes. Most are medieval-inspired, and the corset styles look like a full costume while staying comfortable.
Are they all velvet?
No. Only a couple are velvet. The rest are lighter fabrics, which are cooler for summer.

How do I care for a velvet dress?
Hand wash cold, do not wring, and dry flat. Steam rather than iron to keep the pile soft.
