A corset dress gives you shape without a separate corset. Every dress on this page has built-in corset lacing, usually at the bodice or back.
Styles range from embroidered boho dresses to gothic and medieval gowns, with bell sleeves, a satin Roman-style dress and a velvet gown in the mix. Many come in sizes up to 3X.
How corset lacing fits
Choose your size by bust on the size chart. The lacing then takes in or lets out the waist. You can wear it snug for photos and loosen it after lunch at the faire.
Renaissance and medieval corset dresses
Our medieval corset dresses add embroidery, flared handkerchief hems and bell sleeves. They are the closest thing to a ren faire gown you can also wear to a summer wedding.
Boho and short corset dresses
Not every corset dress is a costume. A few are simple embroidered dresses with lacing for shape, and one is a short peasant-style dress with a net overlay.
What to wear underneath
A regular bra is fine. For a layered faire look, add a light peasant blouse under a sleeveless style.

Many of our styles come in sizes up to 3X. Each product page has its own size chart, so compare it with a piece you already own that fits well. If you are between sizes, size up in fitted styles.

Do I need to wear a corset under a corset dress?
No. The lacing is built into the dress.
How tight should I lace it?
Snug enough to shape, loose enough to breathe and sit. You should be able to slide a flat hand under the laces.
Are corset dresses good for plus sizes?
Yes. The lacing adjusts the waist, so size by bust. Our plus-size Renaissance dresses page shows corset styles in 2X and 3X.
Can I wear a corset dress to a wedding?
Yes. Embroidered, satin and velvet corset dresses all work for a boho or themed wedding.
What is your return policy?
