I really wish I could write a nicer review. The material of this skirt is great and it's almost what the picture shows. Almost. It's way darker in person, I feel like mine didn't get fully dyed. I was willing to overlook that as I don't mind the oak brown it really looked like.However, the smell? Horrendous. The closest thing to cat pee I have ever smelled on a new piece of clothing. I looked it up and it's amonia to help the dye stay. Ironic considering I've had to hand wash it for literal days in a row with vinegar and cold water to try and alleviate the smell and dye bleed. I've emptied 4 tubs worth of almost green/black water and it's still bleeding color in the water. I'm almost at my wits end. If it I hadn't spent almost $70 on this skirt I would have asked for a refund immediately.I'm really bummed considering I would have LOVED to buy another piece in the future because the material was exactly what I was looking for.Save the money, buy this style at an actual festival. Even though the clothes from this company or a little on the expensive side, it’s worth every penny. I bought this skirt for my daughter for her birthday. It fits beautifully and she went nuts over how detailed and gorgeous the color was all I can say is I’ve purchased from this company before and I have dresses that are five years old that I’ve washed and wonder repeatedly and they last forever. I bought something I figured would be loose on my 34-inch waist, but it's actually tight. The stitches are coming apart around the waistband I noticed. The material is very nice and flowy, lovely design with pretty lace in the front. Im not super happy that I paid $64 with some flaws and how tight it is as I bought it according to their size measurements even though usually I am an XL. The first image is right out of the packaging and the second is after the wrinkles had settled a tad. I have a 30 inch waist and got the S/M. The S/M is tight in the waist on me so if you’re around my waist measurements, I would size up for a comfortable fit. I’m also 5ft 9in and the skirt comes to just above my ankles, which for me is the perfect length. I’ll be using this skirt for casual wear and for costumes. The skirt coming out of the bag also had a mild dye odor, though I personally don’t mind it. Overall, I love the skirt and can’t wait to wear it out!
