This magnificent bronze-standing Buddha is 22.0 inches tall represented in the dispelling fear - blessing pose with the palm of his right hand facing out to give a blessing or dispel fear. The hand position is known as abhaya mudra. He usually faces the north. He is also known as Amoghasidhi, one of the five Celestial Buddhas. This Buddha is handcrafted by the skilled artisan of Nepal, Patan whose families have been crafting brass sculptures for centuries with the art being passed on by each generation.
