Every top on this page is embroidered. Embroidery is the thing we have done longest, and it shows up on medieval blouses, tunics, peasant tops, patchwork blouses, knit tops and a few tanks.

Because the work is done by hand, the stitching on your blouse will be a little different from the photo. Many styles come in sizes up to 3X.

Medieval embroidered blouses

Our biggest group. Embroidered panels, lace sleeves and button-down fronts make them a natural Renaissance faire top, and they still look good with jeans.

Embroidered tunics

Longer embroidered tunics in rayon and cotton cover the hips and pair well with leggings.

Patchwork and razor-cut embroidered tops

Some of our hippie blouses combine embroidery with patchwork, razor-cut knit or tie-dye. They are bright, a bit funky and very easy to wear.

Caring for embroidery

Hand wash in cold water and line dry to keep the hand-dyed colors rich. Iron inside out on low if needed. Turn the blouse inside out before washing so the threads do not snag.

Yes, our embroidered blouses are embroidered by artisans in Nepal and India.

Will my blouse look exactly like the photo?

Close. Hand embroidery and hand-dyed fabric vary slightly from piece to piece.

What skirt goes with an embroidered blouse?

A solid or tie-dye maxi skirt lets the embroidery stand out.

Do you have plus-size embroidered blouses?

Many of our styles come in sizes up to 3X. Each product page has its own size chart, so compare it with a piece you already own that fits well. If you are between sizes, size up in fitted styles. Our plus-size boho tops page shows only tops in 2X or 3X.

What is your return policy?
