I bought this skirt in burgundy in a 2x-3x, and it fit me perfectly but the color wasn't exactly as expected (more of a brick red than burgundy.) I ordered a second one in black—same brand, same size— but the black skirt is a full 2" smaller in the waist and is also smaller all the way to the hemline. Instead of hanging straight, it pulls awkwardly across my wide hips. If not for the fit problem, the quality is good, but I don't like the contrast between the shiny vs matte fabrics on the black skirt. (This is less noticeable on the burgundy skirt.) Returning both—one for size, one for color—and will continue my search for the perfect skirt.

Not as flared as expected. Note, if you are short, you will have to roll this at the waist; I am 5'3 and have to roll at the waist twice when I wear the band at my bellybutton. Lovely color, spectacular feel; the velvet is very soft. I have a 28" waist, 37" hips and the S/M fit me perfectly.

If you're 5', this is not the skirt for you. It was way too long. I gave it to my 6' friend who loves it. It was just right for her.
