I really wanted to keep this skirt it was gorgeous. I got the plum. Unfortunately even though the skirt fit my waist, the elastic was uncomfortably tight. It was going to be too much of a project to take it apart and loosen the elastic. I reluctantly sent it back.

I ordered this skirt a couple sizes to big, due to the reviews I read about it running small. I can tell you the way this material lays the extra material is not an issue. I was thrilled with the draw string, I did tuck it in the skirt, as I was going for a dressier look. I also reviewed the matching top, a wonderful combination. To get the look of a fuller hemline I added an under skirt with minimal netting. The pictures do not do this skirt justice, its a beautiful Periwinkle with small areas of heavy net overlay, that give it a very distinct look with good durability, the embroidery has a luminous shine that give this skirt a definite dressy/classy look.
